Les Grands Voisins

Paris, 2018

Built Work for the former Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Hospital by Association Aurore, Plateau Urbain and Yes We Camp

Supported by the municipality of Paris, the adaptive rehabilitation is a temporary occupation project led by three non-profit organizations offering public spaces that foster social inclusion and cooperative models of living. It provides 600 accomodation units as refuge for individuals in vulnerable situations; workspaces for artists, artisans, and urban farmers; and services such as a well-being centre, a social canteen, and a library for the youth. The site and its actors create an environment that advocates for collective solidarity, community trust and circular economy.
